Welcome to Northern Hockey School's Short Day Camp! This camp is for 2017 - 2018 birth years. Our mission is to provide a fun and encouraging environment where young hockey enthusiasts can learn new skills. We believe in striking a balance between learning and having fun. Our Short Day Camp is designed to help your child develop skills and lay a strong foundation for their future success in hockey. Our coaches are dedicated to helping your child develop key skills like hockey stance, skating fundamentals, stick handling, passing and shoot, while instilling in them a love for the game of hockey that will last a lifetime
 

Key skills will be taught at an age and skill appropriate level that will challenge each player. On-ice skills taught will consist of the following:

• Skating Fundamentals

• Stickhandling

• Passing

• Shooting
   

The Northern Hockey School has been providing quality player instruction in Smithers, BC circa 2004. The school is coached and operated by individuals, with ties to the community, who have been involved with hockey at all levels for the majority of their lives. The 2017 - 2018 age group in the Short Day Camp will receive one ice time per day, a dry surface skill development session and a non-hockey sport game. All players will receive a Northern Hockey School jersey at camp registration. The final day will consist of a game.
