Skater Deposit 2004-2006
**Registration in the camp requires the purchase of the age appropriate deposit and camp fees**
 
The Northern Hockey School has been providing quality player instruction in Smithers, BC circa 2004. The school is coached and operated by individuals who have been involved with hockey at all levels for the majority of their lives.
 
Two ice times per day, a dry land training session, and an age appropriate game are included. There will be time set aside each day for a snack and lunch. All players will receive a Northern Hockey School Jersey at camp registration on Monday morning. The final day will consist of a game, followed by a BBQ and autograph session with the coaches.

Hockey skills will be taught at an age and skill appropriate level that will challenge each player. On-ice skills taught will consist of the following:

  • Balance
  • Power Skating
  • Puckhandling
  • Passing
  • Shooting
  • Agility/Quickness
  • Screens/Deflections
  • Angling/Body Positioning
  • Battle/Compete Drills
  • Positional Play
  • Small Ice Games

    July 1st to August 1st: 50% refund of all fees
    August 1st and beyond: No refund
