The Northern Hockey School is making the development of the women's game and increased participation a priority. ​
 
The practice is open to females of all ages who are currently playing hockey, or are interested in playing hockey at any level. The camp will present the women with the opportunity to meet women with similar interests in starting to play hockey and for young players to meet older players who can act as role models. Players from the Northern Hockey School and the community are encouraged to register and come out to all or any part of the mini series.
 
​The practice is for players of all skill levels, from never having played before to high performance players. The practice will look to introduce new players to the game, while providing opportunities for skill development at all levels.
